Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, please contact us at bryan@coastalhardwareva.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on how and where to ship your item. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Because locks and hardware can be heavy, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a carrier that provides tracking and insurance. Please package the item securely, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us right away at bryan@coastalhardwareva.com so we can review the issue.
If the item was damaged during shipping, we can assist you with the information needed to file a claim with the shipping carrier. Please keep the original packaging and take photos of the damage.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know whether the refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
